All things to the glory of our Heavenly Father (God) in the name of Jesus (Son of God)
It would be impossible to tell you about us without telling you about Jesus Christ. "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and" we "are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power" (Colossians 2:9&10).
We are a group of people inseparable from Jesus Christ. We have our identity in Him and are all members of His Body on earth. We were once dead in trespass and sin, but thanks be to God, who, because of His great love for us, was merciful and "made us alive together with Christ ... and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:5,6).
When did this happen?
When each of us responded to the demands of the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
What are those demands?
Jesus said, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age'" Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV).
Peter, a disciple of Jesus, said, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" ...
"Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:38-42 NKJV).
The author of Hebrews wrote, "And being made perfect, he (Jesus) became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:9 KJV).
Simply put, the gospel of the Kingdom of God demands allegiance/loyalty to its King, the ascended Lord Jesus, believing that He saved those who do so when He rose from the dead (Romans 10:9,10).
Therefore, the demands are:
1) repent (turn from the ways of the devil and do the works of righteousness),
2) be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
3) receive the Holy Spirit (evidence: speaking in other unlearned language)
4) continue to serve Jesus as Lord your whole life by doing His commandments believing He has saved those who do so when He rose from the dead
In response to these demands, we were "... buried with Him (Christ Jesus) in baptism, in which" we "also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And" we, "being dead in" our "trespasses and the uncircumcision of" our "flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven" us "all trespasses ..." (Colossians 2:12,13) "... and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:5,6).
As Scripture says we became "... members of His body
of His flesh and of His bones" (Ephesians 5:30). "And He put all
things under His (Christ's) feet, and gave Him to be head over all
things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all" (Ephesians 1:22,23). Thus, "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
In essence, Jesus Christ is the New Man/Mankind who God has replaced lost Adam (Old Man/Mankind) with. After all, God only sees two species with regards to Man, Adam or Jesus Christ. Whoever you are, God sees you as either Adam or Jesus Christ. You are born naturally into Adam and born again/born of spirit into Jesus Christ. Adam is condemned while Jesus Christ is righteous. We were all born of Spirit into Jesus Christ. Therefore we have our identity in Him. Jesus is the Head of Christ and we are the Body of Christ.

"... God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then
God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:27,28 NKJV).
What we read here is that God gave the first Man/Mankind authority to rule on earth - "have dominion". Since one Man, namely Adam, could not physically be everywhere at once, God made the one Man into two, male and female. God made Eve (female) out of the rib of Adam (male) and then gave the two of them clear instruction how they could be present everywhere on earth to exercise dominion. They were to "be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it". So it was through offspring / multiplication that Man (Adam) would reach all places of his dominion and actually rule over the whole earth.
Before Man (Adam) could do this though, Man became slaves to an enemy of God, sin and Satan (Genesis 3). As slaves they could not rule as God intended. Instead Satan ruled on earth using Man's (Adam's) all authority to build his own kingdom.
Because the first kingdom was lost to God's enemy, God sent a New Man, Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, to inaugurate the kingdom of God on earth (Isaiah 9:6,7). Jesus became a man to walk in the authority/dominion originally given to Adam (1st Man) and rescue those of Adam who would willingly follow Jesus as Lord, i.e. do His words.
To such people (disciples of Jesus), Jesus gave a command saying, "'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age'" Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV).
Why was this significant?
As Peter said it in Acts 2:38, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit". When you obey the commands of Jesus, you get the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit inhabiting your body that makes your body the actual body of Jesus Christ (the second and last Adam/Man/mankind). If His Spirit is in you, then your body is literally His body.
As the disciples of Jesus Christ fulfil His commands, new disciples are made who continue to do and propagate the commands of Jesus thereby literally expanding the body of Jesus and Kingdom of God wherever they GO. In so doing, the disciples of Jesus Christ (through their physical presence) take Jesus Christ (by the indwelling Holy Spirit) to all places of His dominion. And so Jesus Christ (the second and last Adam/Man) has dominion over all the earth in every generation through a body of people obedient to Him.
Thus, through Jesus Christ's commission to His disciples, Jesus accomplishes what God instructed the first Adam to do in Genesis 1:27,28, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth”
As present day disciples of Jesus Christ, we (His Body in the earth) strive to bring Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God to all places of His dominion through going and making further disciples of Jesus Christ. Our key means of finding candidates for discipleship is by going about doing good and healing all who are oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38).
Why do we do this?
Because Jesus did and we do what He did. Further, it is one of the commands Jesus gave His first disciples (Matthew 10:8; Mark 6:7-13; Luke 10:9-11 ) which He commanded in Matthew 28:20 to propagate to future disciples, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you". Additionally, in Mark 16:17-18 Jesus said, "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ... they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” We are believers so these signs should follow us and all those we train.
For all who are interested, we help them get into the Kingdom of God and the Body of Jesus Christ (the New Man/Mankind) and show them how to live in the Kingdom of God on earth by making them disciples of Jesus Christ. If you are interested, please contact us.
